Why convert SVG to EPS?
SVG is perfect on the web, but many upload forms, Office apps and social sites won't accept it. Some printers, sign makers and embroidery shops still ask for EPS, and an EPS with your image inside gets it accepted.

- The SVG is drawn as pixels first, and that image is embedded in the EPS. It does not stay a vector drawing.
- The SVG is drawn with its longer side at 2048 pixels, or at its own size if that is larger. Fonts and images it links to by URL are not loaded.
- EPS has no transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
- SVG animations are not kept: the result is a still image.

SVG to EPS, answered
All FAQsIs my SVG file uploaded to convert it?
No. The conversion runs in your browser, on your own device. Your SVG file is not uploaded, and no account is needed.
Will converting SVG to EPS reduce quality?
The SVG is drawn as pixels, so the EPS has a fixed size and won't stay sharp if you enlarge it. Transparent areas become white, because EPS has no transparency.
What's the difference between SVG and EPS?
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) is a lossless vector format mostly used for logos, icons and illustrations. EPS (Encapsulated PostScript) is lossless, has no transparency, and is mostly used for print-ready logos and legacy design files.
Can I convert many SVG files at once?
Yes. Add up to 50 SVG files at a time. They are converted one after another in your browser, and Download all saves each EPS as its own file.
