Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Filo mobile application ("the App") and the website filodocs.app. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal or internal business purposes. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

2. App store terms

Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement and/or the Google Play Terms of Service also apply depending on where you downloaded the App.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, reverse engineer it, resell or redistribute it, or interfere with its ads or related services.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the photos, PDFs, and documents you process with the App. All processing happens on your device; we do not receive, store, or claim any rights over your files.

5. Passport & ID photo disclaimer

The passport photo tool matches published size standards, but acceptance is determined solely by the issuing authority.

6. Advertising and purchases

The App is supported by advertising. If the App offers in-app purchases, billing is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their respective terms.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Always keep backup copies of important files.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer is established.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
